Mary Ellen (Stiehler) Schmitzer
Mary Ellen (Stiehler) Schmitzer, age 87, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2019 while under the care of Paramount Senior Living at Cranberry in Mars.
Born June 28, 1932 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Belle Martin (Davies) Stiehler.
She is survived by her children Mary Ellen Mason, Charles and Edward Schmitzer; grandchildren, Christopher, Oliver and Adeline Mason; Kaitlin, Colton and Mason Marts; Amanda and Ella Zubi; Evan, Renee and Marie Schmitzer; step-grandchildren, Matthew and Maggie Gibson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter R. Schmitzer Jr., who passed away on October 18, 2010. She was also preceded in death by brothers, William, Edward, Paul and John Stiehler and sister June O’Neill.
Mary’s family will welcome friends from 6- 8 P.M. on Monday, August 19, 2019 at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 2841 Woodland Circle in Allison Park, PA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, August 20, at St. Ursula Church, Allison Park.
She will be laid to rest at Assumption Cemetery in Glenshaw.
